Can Beer Bread be Made Ahead of Time?
I prefer to make the bread an hour or so before it is served, so it can be served warm. The mixing of the batter takes only a few minutes, while the baking takes approximately an hour. This will give you the time to prepare the rest of your meal while the bread is baking.

- 1 12 oz. Beer
- 3 Tbsp. Sugar (heaping)

Instructions
-
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
-
Coat sides and bottom of loaf baking pan with cooking spray.
-
In a bowl, combine flour, beer and sugar.

Stir mixture for five minutes until it is smooth and bubble-free. If the mixture seems dry, add a splash of water and mix to incorporate.

K, how long should you let the loaf cool before slicing?
Hi Cindy, You can cut the loaf immediately after it has been removed from the pan, if you want to serve it warm. I use a serrated bread knife so the texture won’t be compromised. Please let me know what you think if you give this a try!
Made the bread beer tonight. We loved it! So good 😋
