Q: Do you offer any design/consulting services?
A: Unfortunately, I do not – all of my time is dedicated to providing inspiration and ideas for everyone through this site 😉
Q: Do you have a YouTube channel?
A: I do not. I would love to do more video but to see clips of everyday life, you can follow me on Instagram and watch my stories, reels, and IGTV 😉 I also have a TikTok where I post some video content HERE.
Q: Can you tell me where XYZ is from?
A: You can find shoppable links to each room under the “Shop” tab at the top of the page. I also keep a full list of extensive sources at the bottom of each home tour and room reveal. You can see all room reveals HERE.
Q: What is that paint color?
A: You’re in luck! I actually have a full, comprehensive post listing all the colors used throughout each room of my house, from walls to trim. You can find that post and the paint color you’re looking for HERE.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Honestly, I think people put too much emphasis on “defining” what their style is. I have hints and nods to almost every style throughout my home but if I had to choose one descriptor, it would probably be “transitional” – emphasis on timeless and traditional with modern and updated touches.
Q: You were making something on Instagram Stories a while ago; do you have the recipe listed?
A: I may have only shared it with those watching Instagram stories, but, most of my recipes are listed HERE.
Q: Tell me about your flooring.
A: It is Nottaway Hickory, Weathered Saddle from Shaw Flooring. It may be discontinued…
Q: Where are your tv cords and components?
A: I have them in the built-in cabinets to the bottom left. You can see the details HERE.
Q: Do you have a set of favorite towels?
A: YES! You can find the towels that I’ve had for years that still look like new and have maintained their plushness with zero snags HERE.
Q: What are your favorite sheets?
A: I actually love my sheets so much, I have a few sets so I don’t have to scramble on laundry day. They are thicker (but not too hot), substantial but soft, and the weight is heavenly. They have lasted for years and have been totally worth the investment! You can find them HERE.
Q: How do you hide your computer cords?

Q: I liked something you posted on Instagram. Can you tell me where it’s from?

Q: What camera do you use?
A: I use a Nikon and edit in Lightroom. Here is what I use:
- Nikon D3200 (link is most recent version, D3500)
- Nikon AF-S FX NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4G Lens (FAVORITE lens)
- Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 EX DC HSM ELD SLD Aspherical Super Wide Angle Lens

Q: I want to start a blog; have any advice?
A: Don’t start a blog to make money. Start a blog because you love it. If you see starting a website as a quick moneymaker, you will be quickly disappointed. As you zero in on what you love, build your audience, and work on honing all the skills you’ll find yourself needing to improve, opportunities will come. It takes hard work, willingness to constantly research, crazy hours, and an unwavering support system. You can see more in my announcement when I left my job to blog full time HERE.
