When we were building our home, we were so excited that I would take to my Instagram account and post occasional progress. I am very sensitive to the way people perceive me (as if you couldn’t tell from my previous post), so I tried to withhold just how much we wanted to jump out of our skin with how pleased we were and how much we were loving our new construction. Whenever I posted, I would feel a twinge of guilt, thinking that somewhere out there, someone was judging me for being too “proud”. But, it consumed a lot of our time and our lives, and we wanted to share that with our friends and family. Fast forward a few months down the road to when we moved in.
