There are a lot of things I’ve bought over the years that I’ve liked… and then there are the things I’ve loved so much that when I needed them again, I didn’t even bother shopping around. I just clicked “add to cart” and reordered. That’s when you know something is good.
From rugs that have survived real life, to finishes I trusted enough to use in two major spaces, today I’m sharing the home finds that were so nice, I bought them twice (and would buy again if given the opportunity).
If you’re someone who hates decision fatigue and just wants pieces that work, this one’s for you.

Why I’m a Repeat Buyer (and Proud of It)
I’m not someone who loves endlessly comparing specs, reviews, and swatches every time I need something new. Once I find something that:
- Looks good
- Functions well
- Holds up to daily life
- Still makes me happy months (or years) later
I’m loyal. And it’s also why I continue to go back to Wayfair again and again whenever I’m shopping for my home. Between their fast and easy delivery over $35, and unparalleled selections for whatever I deem my budget for specified furnishings/projects, I’m a lifer.
So this post isn’t about trends or “what’s in.” It’s about the pieces that earned my trust in real life. So much so that I turned around and bought them more than once.
As a note, before we get into it, Wayfair is having their Tax Refund Sale from 2/24-3/2, so it’s a great time to browse for those spring wishlist items. Watch for items, up to 70% off, and as always, free shipping (even on the big furniture) on orders $35+.
1. The Living Room Rug I Loved So Much, I Bought It Again
Let’s start with rugs, because rugs are commitment. And probably the thing I end up replacing most often and certainly the home furnishing I’ve frequented Wayfair for the most.
Rugs can be expensive, they take a beating, but they also lay the foundation and set the tone of a room. When I found this living room rug, it checked every box:
- Soft enough to be cozy (seriously, the CloudPile is wild)
- Durable enough for daily traffic
- Neutral enough to last through multiple decor phases
- Still looked good after actual living
- Ridiculously amazing value and a price that can’t be beat
So when I needed a similar look in another space? I didn’t overthink it. I reordered. Technically, I reordered in a slightly different color (HERE) that’s a smidge lighter and a touch of subtle green. Seriously, this almost 9’x12′ rug is under $300 right now.
It anchors the room, layers beautifully with furniture, and makes everything feel more finished. It’s one of those pieces that quietly does its job without demanding attention. Those kinds of things are my favorites.

Area Rug (slightly lighter and more green) | White Stoneware Vase | Striped Throw Pillow | Round Wood End Table

Area Rug (slightly more brown and darker) | White Stoneware Vase | Navy Blue Boucle Throw Pillow Cover (set of 2) | Striped Throw Pillow | Round Wood End Table
By the way, can we just revisit the pillow scheme from last fall? Because the linen/brown stripe is still out on display and that blue will most definitely be making a reappearance soon. The deal on THESE pillows is FAB.

Again, here we are with our rug game in the fall…

And here we are currently, pre-spring.

Also speaking of rugs, I am always getting my budget friendly runners from Wayfair and I ordered THIS one in the 9′ version this past month. I just laid it down in the past couple of weeks and I love the addition of the blue! It’s under $80 right now.

Runner | Backsplash Tile | Drawer Pulls – Champagne Bronze | Cabinet Knobs – Champagne Bronze | Le Creuset Dutch Oven | Gold Le Creuset Knob
I have plans to reincorporate a lot of blue and white soon and this rug is going to be even more perfect in here. Today, the almost 10′ runner is the lowest I’ve seen at $70.99 (at the time of posting).

2. My Office Rug: Proof That Practical Can Still Be Pretty
My office rug was another “don’t mess with success” moment. I have a lot of those when it comes to rugs 😉 I spend a lot of time in this space, it lays on top of carpet, is situated under a huge piece of furniture, and it is the flooring beneath my rolling desk chair, so it needed to be:
- Comfortable underfoot
- Thick enough to lay flat, not wrinkling against my chair or desk
- Low enough pile/not nubby to handle my chair wheels
- Visually calming
- Ability to blend with my various color tones and busy office gallery wall (see that full post HERE)
I originally had this rug in the living room and when it was time to replace it, it was out of stock. But, it worked so well that when it restocked, I went right back to it and purchased it for my office.
Here it was in the living room…

And here’s the second time I purchased the rug, in my office, where it remains today.

3. The Picture Frame That’s Been in More Gallery Walls Than I Can Count
If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I love a good gallery wall. And you know what makes gallery walls easier? Consistent frames.
There’s one picture frame style I’ve used over and over again in different rooms and different arrangements. It’s simple, timeless but still modern with its mat and thin frame, and works with everything, from family photos to art prints.
Every time I start a new wall, I reach for the same one. No guesswork. No mismatched finishes. No regrets. It’s my design safety net and I was so nervous about them potentially being discontinued at some time, I actually bought and stored additional frames to keep in the basement for when I expand my gallery walls/start a new project.
A few walls you’ve seen them — the classic trio above the guest bed, framing some of my spare wallpaper. Such a simple gallery and way to create an original wall moment…

And of course, my fave, the black and white travel gallery wall.

4. The Bathroom Faucet I Trusted in all the sink Spaces
Plumbing fixtures are not something I take lightly. Once they’re installed, they’re staying for a while, so I need to love them. But they can also be really spendy so finding the best value without sacrificing quality is priority.
When we updated our powder room several years ago, I chose a sink faucet that felt:
- Clean and classic
- Easy to keep looking nice
- Substantial (not flimsy)
- Timeless

It’s held up beautifully and I was obsessed with the traditional look. So when it was time to update another bathroom? I didn’t reinvent the wheel. Same faucet. No hesitation. And then I did it again. And again. Here it is in my office bathroom…

Sometimes consistency is the design choice.
The primary bathroom actually has a slightly different design, but is from the same brand with a near identical look. The faucet just doesn’t sit quite as high.

Vanity | Faucet (polished nickel)
And then the tub faucet came from the same line and has been equally awesome.

5. The Tile That I Assigned Two Different Configurations
This might be my biggest “vote of confidence” purchase. Tile is permanent. It’s not something you swap out on a whim. When we remodeled our primary bathroom, I spent a lot of time choosing tile that felt classic, bright, and versatile. Something I wouldn’t be tired of in five years. And I still love it.
So much so, that when we worked on the kitchen, I used the same tile again. And I just had it laid in a different configuration to keep things just a LITTLE exciting. 😉 The subtle variation in tile colors make it almost fail proof.
Now those two spaces feel connected in a subtle, intentional way, and I get to enjoy something I already know I love, every single day.
Here’s a reminder of the kitchen, with the backsplash laid in a stacked horizontal configuration…

Runner | Backsplash Tile | Drawer Pulls – Champagne Bronze | Cabinet Knobs – Champagne Bronze | Le Creuset Dutch Oven | Gold Le Creuset Knob
And the shower, laid in a stacked vertical configuration.

Shower Tile | Floor & Niche Tile | Inset Drain | Shower Fixtures (Artifacts Line)
What All These Pieces Have in Common
Looking at this list, I realized something. Every single one of these items is:
✔️ Neutral without being boring
✔️ Practical without being plain
✔️ Stylish without trying too hard
✔️ Built for real life
✔️ A fantastic value
They’re not too flashy. Or too trendy. They’re dependable. And that’s my favorite kind of home decor.
My Philosophy: When It Works, Don’t Overthink It
I think we sometimes feel pressure to always find “something new.” But there’s nothing wrong with saying, “This worked. I’m doing it again.” In fact, it saves time, money, and mental energy, which I’m sure we could all use more of these days.
These repeat purchases helped me create cohesive spaces, avoid bad buys, stick to my style, and build/evolve a home I genuinely love. No buyer’s remorse. No second guessing. Just good decisions, repeated.

Final Thoughts
Your home doesn’t need constant reinvention. Sometimes the best compliment you can give a product is buying it again. And again. And maybe again. 😉
Because when something fits your life, your style, and your season—it’s worth sticking with.
