The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is LIVE- First Sight Favorites

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is LIVE! Actually, it’s live for cardholders and will open to everyone on July 20. This event is the sole reason I opted to open a credit card a few years ago – so many popular items sold out during the pre-sale that I wanted to have the advantage of shopping first. You can apply for one HERE and if approved, you’ll get electronic access as a cardholder, along with a $40 Nordstrom note (cash to go toward your purchase). Along with today’s post of initial favorites (first sight favorites), what I have in my cart, and what I love so much I’m getting more of,  I’ll be sharing again throughout the sale as my order(s) arrive, what I think of everything in person, and other key items along the way. Each year I’ve shopped it, it’s become more valuable to me – this past year, my entire fall and winter wardrobe was secured during the sale.

If you’re new to the sale, that’s the great thing – the majority of it is made up of brand new releases, especially for fall and winter, that are 20%-40% off. Plus, all orders come with free shipping AND free returns! If I’m not sure about something, I’ll go ahead and snag it (I’ve learned my lesson) – for shoes, I will even buy two sizes sometimes and return the pair that doesn’t fit.
