I’m hopeful the annual invasive, notorious, yellow coating of pine pollen is mostly finished, we’re back from our Texas visit, and pool season has commenced, which means it’s high time we get it together and work on completing our yearly outdoor spring clean-up! We actually had fresh mulch put down yesterday, I picked up some new outdoor dining chair cushions, we’ve *started* planting, I replaced the boxwoods in the big planters at the pool area, but there’s still a lot of items on the to-do list. Today, I’m sharing some of the updates I’ve made in the past couple of days to zhuzh up our outdoors, and since the biggest addition is also part of the annual 3-day Way Day Sale, I’m sharing nine favorites from the event!

Latest Outdoor Updates — The Scalloped Outdoor Umbrellas that Won My Heart (& Wallet)
The very first year we installed our pool, I splurged on expensive outdoor umbrellas and within a couple months of having them erected, we got that awful storm that left devastation throughout our area. We were fortunate but our umbrellas were not. Despite being anchored by 100 lb. weights, they were turned over, thrown about, and one of the frames was irreparably bent. This is year four of having our pool and since then, I’ve just dealt with the bent frame. But, since the canopies were faded and stained, I decided enough time had passed and this would be the year I sought replacements. I had zero interest in splurging on umbrellas again and quickly found a new style that I fell in love with at first sight, and lemme say — the value is value-ing.
I loved the scalloped edge detail of our former umbrellas and dare I say that the new canopies are even more adorable with their dual layers scallops. It comes in 10 colors, has thousands reviews with a 4.8* rating, and while I was thrilled with the price I paid, the price was reduced even more for Way Day (3-days only, ends 4/27, and everything ships free!) Our side tables between the loungers are no longer available but THESE are a great alternative. We have these on our deck in our seating area.
We have a lot of clean up work to do to get our deck area looking like this again but I’m up for the task. THIS Polywood dining set (which doesn’t fade, splinter, and is essentially weather-proof) is worth its weight in gold.

4. Lighting Pendants
I’m in love with both of these — both are giving DESIGNER in a current but classic way. The glass pendant (I love for the kitchen, small entry, hallway, above a tub, etc.) is a MAJOR budget friendly score (currently under $128) and the beaded chandelier would be stunning above a table.

5. Outdoor Concrete Side Table
Forever a fan of fluting, THIS concrete accent table is pretty on its own or as a pair outdoors. It also comes in a gray color tone.
6. Woven Storage Side Table
Functional, practical, beautiful, and a fantastic price. Also great for toy storage in common areas!
7. Cane Back Dining Chairs
I adore these and while I think I would have gone for the black in the past, I’m really loving the deep chocolate color. I would LOVE THESE for our dining room and if I knew what I was doing about our table, I would go ahead and grab them. They come as a pair and along with the black and dark brown, they also come in a white and light oak.

8. Upholstered Dining Chairs
I also love an upholstered arm chair for the dining room but they typically come with an accompanying high price tag.Both of these come with casters for rolling and look almost identical to one another. THIS ONE is actually linen and down filled while the pricing on THIS ONE is a little lower.

9. Cloudpile Rug
The softest rug I’ll continue to praise for its look and price (that I’ve now had in two color tones) is such an incredible value. Mine is the 8’6″x11’6″ and it’s under $294 right now. I use THIS rug pad with it.
