Since the start of the year, I’ve picked up a mix of practical upgrades, little luxuries, and a few just-for-fun favorites that have genuinely made my days easier, prettier, or just a bit more me. And the timing couldn’t be better to share them, because Amazon’s Big Spring Sale is happening right now, meaning many of these tried-and-loved pieces are currently discounted. Number 1 & 2: Swimsuits & Cover-ups
Suits, Wraps & Elevated Poolside Staples
I’ve placed a lot of trial and error orders for summer swim and my criteria was — secure, not cut high at the bottom (in the front or back), cute fit, and affordable. I sent a lot back but I also found several that were keepers. I had some really good luck on Amazon last year, so while I had to change sizes, I actually bought THIS suit for the third/fourth(?) time. Here are all my keepers for the season! All these suits, cover-ups and sarongs come in a bunch of colors. FYI: I know a typical recommendation is to size up one on swim, but I went with my regular size on all these.

I got the brown cover-up first and loved it so much, I turned around and bought the blue. The lead time was slated to be around a month but it only took a week or two to get here.
Not included above but I just got this suit in and LOVE the color, cut, and style!
THIS belted style swimsuit is so classy and was the biggest surprise! So glad I took a chance on it. As an FYI, the sarong is only printed on one side but my family insisted it was so cute, it didn’t even matter.
Another swimsuit I thought was so adorable, not only did I initially order the olive green, but I turned around and ordered the two-tone blue, too!

I got glasses recently and have been back to the doctor multiple times because they’re not quite right. But, I did go ahead and grab a pack of readers — not only was I able to find the elusive .75 (there’s all kinds of strengths), but they’re also bluelight glasses and a pack of three is around the $10 mark! I get comments on these every time I show up in stories with them on.

Number 7: Candle Warmer

Not only is the ambiance next level, but I swear the longevity and intensity of the scent lasts WAY WAY longer than burning the wicks. I started with one of these candle warmers in my bedroom and recently ordered a second for the kitchen. As a reminder, they have multiple light levels and a timer option for auto-off.

The regular rainbow slides I used to get for Eliza each year were discontinued so I was thrilled to find these! She is going to lose her mind when she sees her Easter basket 😉
Number 9: Adjustable Purse/Bag Organizer
The Solution I’ve Repeated Throughout My Closet
I was so happy to find this adjustable bag organizer, you can connect multiple organizers together, choose the positioning of the dividers, and I actually have a few throughout the closet now. Even with some of my small/medium sized totes that I had folded before!

The best way to fit in double the shoes in half the space (while utilizing some vertical space!) I have multiple sets of THESE adjustable shoe organizers. Technically, I did’t purchase these for the first time this year, but I did repurchase more this year 😉 Suitable for flats, heels, etc.

So happy we nixed the cardboard box and made this the one item that was permissible to be on the floor. Also great for stacking under the kitchen sink.
Number 13: Caulk Removal Tool
Made Me An Official DIY Machine
I’ve been wanting and needing to replace cracked caulk — specifically in my powder room and kitchen — for years and while I didn’t think it would be hard, it was far easier than I anticipated. I just needed to take the first step and actually get the supplies to commit myself to following through. This one project made me feel like I was ready to take on many more DIY projects and THIS multi-function tool is crucial for removing old caulk! A tip I got which I will definitely be using moving forward is to use baby wipes as the damp towel to smooth the caulk.
Number 14: Soft Kettlebells
Kind of A Brilliant Oxymoron
I’m focusing more on weights these days and I needed some heavier options than my dumbbells. I ended up with two sizes of THIS silicone, filled kettlebell and absolutely LOVE it. Not only is it comfortable and safer, but it’s easier on floors — especially hardwood. Multiple sizes and colors available.

I am all for sharing and exchanging puzzles with my mom and our local library, but when I saw this one, I couldn’t resist. I had SO much fun with it — they have additional decades, too, like the 80’s HERE.

I read a lot and I’ve probably already read 60 books so far this year, but THIS one was worth every bit of hype.
