I actually hadn’t planned to launch any formal gift guide idea posts directly on KN this year, and instead have been concentrating on including ideas in emails to subscribers (you can subscribe HERE) and on Instagram stories. However, there have been a number of requests over the past week for insight as to what Eliza is asking for/Christmas gift ideas for little girls, so today, I’m sharing some of what she’s getting and some favorites she’s received for those of you who may be looking to spark some ideas for the little girls and kids you’re shopping for!

As a little background, Eliza is in kindergarten and is into gymnastics, softball, and sports in general right now. I didn’t include anything involving those since it’s a little specific. I also didn’t include much in the way of outdoor items since she’s pretty covered, but I always consider pool/summer items that may not be as obvious.
She doesn’t have a tablet or electronic gaming so most of our gifts are geared toward exploration, imagination, and practicality. She loves science, exploring outdoors, crafts, babies, barbies, building and construction, cooking, pretending, games, and learning. Honestly, she’s always been pretty easy to shop for and doesn’t easily get bored (we’re fortunate!) and doesn’t ask for much, so I try to keep what she gets well rounded (play, wear, room, family, etc.)
This year, the only things she asked for were a robot (?! THIS is what I got), a Target Barbie set she saw while we were in the store, and she mentioned a science kit. My favorite gifts aren’t toy-focused at all, though.
