This summer, we have been totally operating outside of our norm. What was supposed to be a regular summer vacay (our trip out west to Whitefish and Glacier National Park — full trip recap HERE) turned into unexpected back to back to back (for us) trips. Some friends invited us to their beach house for a long weekend and we squeezed in a trip for Eliza’s birthday in lieu of a party, which has made for a very busy June. Again, at least by our standards. 😉 I can’t believe how quickly the summer has flown (isn’t that always the case?) and — at least as of now — we plan to be a little more stationary for the rest of the summer. Today, I’m taking a quick look back on the past month’s highlights

The June 2025 Recap & Run-Down
I don’t know if it’s that the teachers and librarians have brilliant messaging or her sweet age, but Eliza has never been more adamant and as excited as she was to enroll (and make sure she was enrolled) in the summer reading program through our local library. We just visited yesterday to cash in on her levels and prizes thus far.

And the latest — through finally deciding I needed an MRI on my knee, the orthopedist was able to formally announce that while I had a severe MCL sprain, bone contusion, and some knee arthritis, I wouldn’t need surgery — it will just take a while longer (likely six months) before my knee heals. I’m so relieved for the good report that I will be able to heal on my own.

Hi Susan, The striped shirt is a “generous” fit and I did not size down as I prefer a looser fit. You really can’t beat this great deal and I hope this helps.
